August 20, 2007 So after much prodding from my friends and bandmates I decided to discover myspace. My friend Henry Darragh had created a page for me a long time ago and I checked it out and still wasn't quite sure what all the buzz was about. It just didn't seem to excite me. I never went back to look at it. Until my friends...in real life...were asking why I wouldn't be their "friend". Huh? So I figured out how to answer friend requests on myspace and all the little things you have to upload and fill out. Spending hours sweating over what order to put my friends in....I know someones feelings are going to unintentionally be hurt and there is nothing I can do about it. I'll try to not let it keep me up at night with myspace anxiety dreams. In the meantime I neglected to notice that the calendar on my webpage had dissappeared while I was spending all this time learning myspace.
And then people were asking me where I play and with frustration I would say check my webpage (thinking they were only looking on myspace). Ooops! Yikes!
So the calendar is up ....again...finally. I want to say hi to all the international vistors to this site....nice to see my litlle world wide web page has finally become world wide. And if you are interested I am finally on myspace at:
I am thinkin about moving this journal to my myspace page, but I am not sure you can add pictures on your blog....boring.
.....I am slow to catch on to trends.....and now my friend Bernard Bonnet says myspace is passe and facebook is the new great internet networking thingy. Great....another computer thing to have to learn. Think I'll go practice my guitar instead.
I am still teaching at Linda Lowe's Writers In the Round and loving it. Sign up for lessons if you like and let's hang out in this wonderful creatinve space that Linda has created in West University Place.
